One day, the match said to the candle: Today I will light you. Oh no! said the candle, don't you realize that if you light me my days will be numbered; don't do me such a bad thing.
-So you want to stay like this all your life? Hard, cold and never having shone? asked the match.
-Then the match answered. You are absolutely right! But that is our mission. You and I were made to be light and what I as a match can do is very little, my flame is small and my time is short. But if I pass my flame to you, I will have fulfilled the purpose of my life, I was made precisely for that, to start the fire.
Now, you are a candle and your mission is to shine. All your pain and energy will be transformed into light and warmth for a long time.
Hearing that, the candle looked at the match that was already at the end of its flame and said.
-Please light me! And so it produced a nice, bright flame.
Just like the candle, sometimes it is necessary to go through difficult experiences, to experience pain and suffering so that the best we have can emerge, be shared and we can be LIGHT.
Remember that "calm seas do not make good sailors", the best ones are revealed in rough waters.
So if you were to go through the candle experience, remember that serving and sharing love is the fuel that keeps us alive.
You are the light of the world and your mission is to radiate that light! Never forget that we must always be light. A light that guides, not one that obscures or blinds. Shine, to give a lot of brightness wherever you go. And whoever is bothered by it, should cover their eyes!
