Relationships

💔 Life Isn’t Fair
No matter how hard you work or how kind you are, life doesn’t guarantee fairness. Bad things can happen to good people, and good things can happen to those who don’t deserve them.
⏳ Time is Limited
Life is fleeting, and you don’t have as much time as you think. You’ll only realize the value of time when it’s slipping away, so use it wisely.
🕵️‍♂️ People Change
The people in your life may not stay the same. Relationships evolve, and sometimes, people drift apart or change in ways that make them unrecognizable.
💔 Everyone Will Die Someday
Death is a certainty, and it’s something we all have to face eventually. It’s an uncomfortable truth that we must accept to live life fully and without regret.
😔 You Can’t Control Everything
You can plan, prepare, and try your best, but you can’t control everything. Learning to accept the unpredictability of life is vital for peace of mind.
🌪 Pain Is Inevitable
Everyone faces emotional and physical pain at some point in life. It’s a part of growth, learning, and resilience. You can’t avoid pain, but you can learn to cope with it.
👥 Most People Won’t Care About Your Struggles
People are busy with their own lives and may not notice or care about what you’re going through. Don’t rely on others for validation or comfort—learn to find it within yourself.
🕰️ Regret Is a Part of Life
No matter how carefully you make choices, there will always be things you wish you had done differently. Regret is a natural part of living, but it’s important not to let it control your future.
💭 Your Mind Can Be Your Worst Enemy
Negative self-talk, anxiety, and doubt can sabotage your potential. You may be your own biggest obstacle, and changing that requires intentional effort and self-awareness.
🌱 Growth Requires Discomfort
Personal growth only happens when you step outside of your comfort zone. It’s painful and difficult, but the discomfort is where true change happens.
👎 Not Everyone Will Like You
You can’t please everyone, and that’s okay. Trying to gain approval from everyone will leave you feeling exhausted and inauthentic. Accept that some people won’t like you, and that’s their problem, not yours.
🤐 Silence Can Be Betrayal
Sometimes not speaking up is just as damaging as saying the wrong thing. Silence in the face of injustice or inaction can make you complicit, whether in your own life or the lives of others.
💰 Money Is Important, but Not Everything
Money can provide comfort and security, but it doesn’t buy happiness or fulfillment. True contentment comes from relationships, purpose, and inner peace—not material wealth.
🧠 Happiness Is a Choice, Not a Given
No one is happy all the time. Happiness comes from how you choose to respond to life’s circumstances. You have the power to find joy in the little things, even during difficult times.
🕊️ Forgiveness Is for You, Not Them
Forgiving others doesn’t mean they were right or that what they did was okay; it means you’re choosing to let go of the burden that holding onto anger or resentment brings.
⛔ No One Owes You Anything
It’s hard to accept that no one is obligated to care for you, help you, or make your life better. Expectations can lead to disappointment, so it’s better to rely on yourself.
💭 Your Perception is Your Reality
How you view yourself and the world shapes your experiences. If you see life through a negative lens, it will feel hard and overwhelming. Your mindset is what dictates how you respond to life’s challenges.
Facing these uncomfortable truths can be difficult, but acknowledging them is the first step toward living a more authentic and fulfilled life. Are there any specific ones that resonate with you or that you’d like more insight into?

A man caught a bird by the trap; and the bird said to him, 'My lord, you have eaten many oxen and sheep, and have slaughtered many camels; and you have not been satisfied; neither will you keep it with me.

Let me go, and I will give you three pieces of advice, so that you may see whether I am wise or foolish. The first piece of advice I will give you while resting on your hand, the second on your roof, and the third on a tree. Let me go, for these three pieces of advice will bring you prosperity.”
The first one, which must be said in your hand, is this: “Do not believe an absurdity when you hear it from someone.”
When the bird had spoken the first piece of advice into the palm of his hand, he was released and went to perch on the wall of the house, and said:
The second piece of advice is “Do not grieve over what has happened when it has happened, and do not feel regret.”
After which he said to her: “In my body there is hidden a huge and precious pearl, weighing ten dirhams. As sure as you are alive, this jewel was your fortune and the luck of your children. This pearl has escaped you, because it was not in your destiny to acquire it, this pearl that has no equal in this world.”
The man, like a woman who moans when she gives birth, began to cry out. The bird said to him: “Did I not advise you not to grieve over what has happened? Since it is past and over, why do you grieve?”
Either you have not understood my advice, or you are deaf. As for the first advice I gave you, namely, “do not believe an absurd statement,” O good man, I myself do not weigh ten dirhams. How can there be within me a weight of ten dirhams?
The man recovered himself and said, “Listen, now tell me the third piece of advice.” “Well,” said the bird, “you have made such bad use of the other two pieces of advice that I do not see why I should give you the third piece of advice in vain!”
Moral:
Giving advice to an ignorant obtuse person is sowing on barren ground.

Story: Elephant, Goat and Bird

An elephant and a goat lived in a forest. Both were very good friends. Every day they used to look for food together and eat together. One day they went far away from the forest in search of food. There they saw a pond. There was a plum tree on the bank of that pond.

The elephant and the goat were very happy to see the plum tree. Both of them went near the plum tree, then the elephant shook the plum tree vigorously with its trunk and a lot of ripe plums started falling on the ground. The goat quickly started collecting the fallen plums.
Coincidentally, there was a bird's nest on the same plum tree, in which a baby bird was sleeping and the bird had gone somewhere in search of grains. Due to the strong shaking of the plum tree, the baby bird fell out of the nest into the pond and started drowning.
Seeing the baby bird drowning, the goat jumped into the pond to save it, but the goat did not know how to swim. Because of this, she also started drowning in the pond.
Seeing the goat drowning, the elephant also jumped into the pond and saved both the baby bird and the goat from drowning.
Meanwhile the bird also reached there and was very happy to see her child safe and sound. She asked the elephant and the goat to live near this pond and plum tree. Since then the elephant and the goat also started living under that plum tree with the bird.
In a few days the baby bird grew up. The bird used to roam around the jungle with its baby and used to inform the elephant and the goat about the trees in the jungle which had fruits. In this way the elephant, the goat and the bird used to live happily and eat and drink.
Learning from the story
We should not do harm to anyone. If our mistake causes trouble to anyone, we should correct that mistake and help each other by removing the differences.
