Sober observation

  1. Most people wouldn’t know how to handle themselves without their cellphones. If you want to test the quality of your mind ; sit & do absolutely nothing for 30 minutes , no books, phone, music , talking , movements , nothing . Just sober observation,
  2. Overcomplicate happiness , & you’ll always miss it . Overcomplicate fitness , & you’ll struggle to be consistent . Overthink creativity , & you’ll always hit a block . Nothing works like simplicity ,
  3. If something occupies your headspace, it occupies your life . Declutter your mind , declutter your life,
  4. Sometimes you read “ The problem isn’t your problem , it’s your reaction to your problem” . That feels really invalidating & blame oriented when you’re faced with huge stress & unfair or overwhelming circumstances . It’s not your fault that you suffer . It’s a human reality. Learn life! ,
  5. How do you forgive yourself ? Lovingly , Gently , Patiently , by understanding that it’s the only way to truly move forward & by giving yourself the same grace that you give to others ,
  6. Using your mindfulness & psychological flexibility skills , you can get unstuck from older , more rigid patterns of thinking. This can open the door for you to re-think your approach & your aims in life, creating new strategies & more rewarding possibilities,
  7. We set ourselves to fail in our attempt to change the world when we begin to point out what’s wrong with everyone else, while ignoring the changes we need to make within ourselves. It’s time to execute more self-awareness & step it up . Live in line with your message,
  8. People who’re used to being intensely self-critical tend to think that self-compassion is somehow “ going too easy “ on themselves or taking the easy way out . This isn’t at all what self-compassion is . It’s a skill that gives us the courage to face things that deeply scare us ,
  9. When days are good, remember they won’t last forever , it’ll keep you grounded. When days are bad , remember they won’t last forever too, it’ll keep you motivated.
